Key responsibilities include:
- Architecting, designing, and implementing highly scalable backend services
- Improving reliability, latency, and cost-efficiency of AI and search services in cloud environments
- Deploying AI and Search services to single-tenant cloud environments
- Translating product requirements into software architectures
- Solving challenges related to large language models
- Providing technical leadership and implementing best practices
The ideal candidate should have:
- Strong software engineering skills in back-end engineering
- Experience with frameworks like FastAPI, Django, Sanic
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with technologies like Terraform, GraphQL, Javascript, Solr, Elasticsearch
- Experience with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, and Docker
- Hands-on experience with Large Language Models and related technologies
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities For Senior Software Engineer, AI & Search Platform
- Architect, design, and implement highly scalable backend services for AlphaSense AI and Search products
- Improve the reliability, latency, and cost-efficiency of AI and search services in cloud environments
- Deploy AI and Search services to single-tenant cloud environments

- Solve challenges related to working with large language models
- Provide technical leadership and implement best practices for software development
Requirements For Senior Software Engineer, AI & Search Platform
- Strong software engineering skills in back-end engineering on complex, data-intensive applications
- Deep, hands-on experience with back-end web frameworks like FastAPI, Django, Sanic
- Proficiency in Python
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Experience in deploying AI and search services to single-tenant cloud environments
- Hands-on experience with Large Language Models, prompt tuning, and RAG architecture
- Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
- Experience designing large-scale software systems and writing high-quality code and tests
- Knowledge of modern development practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
- Experience in optimizing the performance and cost of cloud services
