Amazon's Infrastructure Services Organization (ISO) is seeking a Dedicated Cloud Engineer to support the Intelligence Community's mission by providing high-availability, scalable, and secure software services. The position requires working with AWS services such as EC2, EBS, S3, CloudWatch, and CloudFormation, while supporting and engineering next-generation compute and storage platforms. As a Dedicated Cloud Engineer, you'll be responsible for pre-production support through testing and integration, maintaining live services through monitoring and health checks, and implementing sustainable scaling through automation. Key technical areas include experience with AWS CLI/Console, database familiarity (MySQL, DynamoDB), scripting (Python, Ruby, Bash), and networking technologies. The position requires a US citizenship and an active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
You'll join AWS Infrastructure Services, which owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. The team supports all AWS data centers and the equipment that ensures customers have continuous access to cloud innovation. You'll work alongside diverse professionals including software engineers, hardware specialists, and security experts.
