Amazon's Infrastructure, Services and Operations (ISO) group is seeking a Dedicated Cloud Engineer to support the Intelligence Community's mission by providing highly available, scalable, and secure software services. This role is part of AWS Infrastructure Services, which owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure.
The position requires supporting and engineering next-generation compute and storage platforms, maintaining exceptional standards for infrastructure reliability and availability. You'll work with software services before and after they go live, focusing on testing, integration, monitoring, and scaling systems through automation.
Key responsibilities include maintaining service health, implementing improvements for reliability and velocity, participating in team building, and managing communication between teams. The role involves periodic 24/7 on-call rotation and requires strong technical skills in cloud technologies, particularly AWS services.
