Amazon Dedicated Cloud Engineer, Pyxis

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Dedicated Cloud Engineer for their Pyxis team to support the U.S. Intelligence Community. This role combines cloud computing expertise with high-security clearance requirements to help implement innovative solutions for government agencies.

The position is part of AWS's specialized service teams working with the U.S. Intelligence Community, building and operating some of the world's largest and most complex distributed systems. As an Amazon Dedicated Cloud Engineer (ADCE), you'll be responsible for managing system health, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring smooth operations of AWS Builder Tools services.

Key responsibilities include monitoring system health, device provisioning, troubleshooting network and configuration issues, and providing technical recommendations. You'll need to maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph and be willing to work with various government agencies.

The role offers competitive compensation ranging from $81,900 to $152,000 based on geographic location, plus additional benefits including equity opportunities and comprehensive medical coverage. You'll be part of AWS's Utility Computing (UC) organization, working with foundational services like S3 and EC2, while contributing to new product innovations.
