Anaplan Developer, RACE Team

The Worldwide Public Sector (WWPS) team at AWS is seeking an Anaplan Developer to assist with forecasting models, planning processes, and reporting. This role is part of a Business Insights team focused on identifying and explaining business trends and impact. The ideal candidate should have advanced Anaplan skills and experience building scalable models.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and support an existing Anaplan forecast model used by thousands of users
• Develop a deep understanding of the business and identify impactful levers
• Enhance existing models and implement new Anaplan models to address forecasting gaps
• Develop both back-end and front-end features in Anaplan following best practices
• Work with data engineering team to integrate Anaplan data with existing warehouses
• Create user guides, training materials, and documentation

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as an Anaplan model developer
• 4+ years of experience as a business analyst
• At least 1 end-to-end Anaplan system implementation
• L1, L2, and L3 Anaplan Model Building Certification
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master Anaplanner or Anaplan Solutions Architect Certification
• Experience with AWS technologies (Redshift, GLUE, S3)
• Experience with Tableau or other BI tools
• SQL proficiency with large-scale, complex data sets

The base pay for this position ranges from $104,300/year to $185,000/year, depending on the geographic market. Amazon offers a comprehensive benefits package and values diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
