Application Engineer, AWS NGDE

AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon's Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS's services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you'll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

The AWS NGDE team is looking for talented Application Engineers experienced in developing processes & automations, tools, and complex scripts to support the ML/AI initiatives driven by Amazon Q Builder Science team. Our team's mission is to make machine learning easy, stronger, and universal in the world of Natural Language and Speech. We developed thriving ML services such as CodeWhisperer, Comprehend, Kendra, Lex, and Transcribe.

Key job responsibilities: • Develop high-quality solutions to the requirements from the data science team to generate quality data or information. • Partner effectively with the partner teams to understand the needs and deliver with high quality. • Implement automation or tools to improve the process or quality • Mentor new engineers
