Automation Solutions Engineer, Global Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME), Cross Functional Programs and Standards (CFPS, SMI, RAE)

We are seeking an experienced Automation Solutions Engineer to join our Global Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) Team. This role focuses on designing, programming, testing, and implementing software solutions that enhance productivity and quality across all Business units. As a global position, you'll have the opportunity to impact Amazon sites worldwide, managing large-scale projects and creating innovative solutions for automated technologies and systems.

The role involves working with cutting-edge technology, including PLC/PC controllers, industrial networks, and motor control systems. You'll be responsible for programming in-house solutions, leading international automation initiatives, and providing technical expertise for critical systems. The position requires strong project management skills as you'll coordinate with Field-based Automation Engineers and develop Subject Matter Experts for various projects.

You'll work closely with vendors, manage technical support for local teams, and drive operational excellence through cost-cutting initiatives.
