Amazon Health Services (AHS) is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to join their Central Marketing team. This role is crucial in developing the foundations of AHS Marketing analytics, including customer valuation, attribution, and channel optimization tools.

The position sits within AHS Performance Marketing, which drives customer acquisition across Amazon's health businesses including OneMedical, Amazon Clinic, and Amazon Pharmacy. The team focuses on data-driven decision making and customer obsession, working to unlock customer behavioral signals to enhance service delivery.

As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

  • Creating analytical tools and insights to understand customer behavior across AHS
  • Improving decision-making tools in Product and Marketing
  • Conducting deep data diving and statistical analysis of designed experiments
  • Working with various stakeholders to understand business drivers and goals
  • Implementing and supporting tools for large dataset access
  • Developing interactive dashboards and reports using AWS tools

The role requires expertise in:

  • Data analysis using Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL
  • Data visualization tools like Tableau or Quicksight
  • ETL pipeline construction and data modeling
  • Statistical analysis using R, SAS, or Matlab
  • SQL and Python programming
