Core Shopping (CS) Analytics is a crucial team at Amazon that transforms raw data into actionable insights to enhance customer experience across the Amazon store. The team is responsible for analytics covering Homepage, Navigation, Reviews, Detail Page, List, App First, and Cross-Store experiences.
As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of improving how customers discover, find, and evaluate items across the Store. Working in 5-week Sprints, you'll collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to develop frameworks that drive better customer experiences. Your role involves owning core datasets, conducting in-depth analysis, and making recommendations that generate business value.
The team currently supports 500+ Builders and 100+ partner teams through 'Source of Truth' datasets, self-service dashboards, scheduled reports, and custom metrics. In 2024, they've expanded their capabilities to support new experiences and mature their foundational service offerings.
