Business Intelligence Engineer – EU Transportation Capacity Management, GTS

The EU Network Planning and Capacity team is responsible for planning the European transportation network, forecasting, planning, and optimizing the flow of billions of parcels each year. As a Business Intelligence Engineer in Network Optimization, you will work on key projects for Amazon across planning and capacity optimization to deliver the best customer experience.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building simulation tools to understand how one of the most complex networks in the world will function under different scenarios
• Developing reports and analyses using Redshift, SQL, Excel, Tableau, and other data management systems
• Identifying opportunities to improve forecast accuracy
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to make data-driven decisions
• Providing sophisticated yet easy-to-understand analyses to help teams prepare for and respond to uncertainty

The ideal candidate will have:

• Advanced knowledge of SQL/Redshift, Tableau, R, Python, or Visual Basic
• Experience in data analysis and visualization in a business setting
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and make timely decisions
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (preferred)
• Project management experience in a related industry (preferred)
