Description For Business Intelligence Engineer II, Amazon Privacy Products

The Amazon Privacy team is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to join their mission of enabling Amazon teams to meet customer expectations and regulatory obligations for personal data protection. In this role, you'll be instrumental in developing and delivering metrics that validate privacy obligations across the company. You'll work closely with product and engineering teams who manage privacy tools, partnering with leads to innovate new ways to report on privacy initiatives.

The position offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of data analytics and privacy compliance, where you'll own the entire data pipeline from sourcing to visualization. You'll be responsible for building scalable analytics programs, researching the impact of privacy automation, and ensuring compliance through data-driven evidence.

Responsibilities For Business Intelligence Engineer II, Amazon Privacy Products

  • Own sourcing data for internal dashboards and business reviews
  • Work with Amazon Privacy product team to build scalable metrics and analytics program
  • Research impact of privacy automation and tooling on customers and business users
  • Coordinate with internal auditing team for compliance program data
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to discover new ways to view and report on privacy initiatives

Requirements For Business Intelligence Engineer II, Amazon Privacy Products

Python
  • 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL experience
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
  • Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
  • Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse
  • Python scripting experience to process data for modeling
