Business Intelligence Engineer, LMAQ

Amazon is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Engineer to join their Last Mile Quality team, focusing on improving delivery operations through data-driven decisions. This role combines technical expertise with strategic leadership to enhance Amazon's delivery service quality.

The position involves working with vast amounts of delivery-related data to optimize decisions about package delivery, address verification, delivery preferences, and route optimization. You'll be responsible for ensuring the quality of data that powers millions of daily delivery decisions, from address validation to delivery associate routing.

As a key member of the last mile leadership team, you'll work directly with Technology, Operations, and Finance teams, presenting to VPs and SVPs. The role requires someone who can balance technical depth with business acumen, combining strong analytical skills with the ability to drive strategic initiatives.

You'll be responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines, creating visualizations, and applying statistical methods to solve complex business problems. The role requires expertise in tools like Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL databases, and visualization platforms like Tableau or Quicksight, along with programming skills in languages such as Python or Java.
