Business Intelligence Engineer - Locations considered: London, Paris, Madrid, Milan, Munich, Berlin, EU Heavy and Bulky Services

Amazon's EU Heavy Bulky & Services team is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to elevate their data projects to the next level. This role combines hands-on data engineering with Business Intelligence solution building, requiring strong analytical and statistical abilities. The position is part of a growing Amazon business focused on enhancing customer experience in specialized product portfolios.

The role involves working across multiple teams including Product Managers, Tech, Logistics, Finance, and Retail, requiring excellent communication skills and stakeholder management. The successful candidate will be customer-obsessed and have experience implementing analytically derived solutions for large-scale business problems.

Daily responsibilities include dedicating 75% of time to BI projects, finding solutions for business needs, and optimizing internal processes. The remaining time is split between ad-hoc analyses and continuous learning/innovation. The EU HBS BIEs team drives innovative projects for the Heavy Bulky and Services business, with a mission to build best-in-class Customer Experience.

Key technical requirements include proficiency in data warehousing, ETL pipelines, SQL, Python, and visualization tools. Experience with AWS solutions is preferred. The role offers the opportunity to shape the analytical backbone of a growing business unit within Amazon, working with large-scale, complex datasets to drive business decisions.
