Amazon Supply Chain is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to join their Network Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) team. This role is part of a small analytical group responsible for forecasting inventory flows across North America's Fulfillment network. The position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a pioneering team building solutions from the ground up.

The role involves developing sophisticated forecasting models and creating advanced visualization solutions to analyze and present forecasts to senior stakeholders. You'll work with massive datasets and collaborate across multiple teams including Transportation, Labor Planning, and Finance to build accurate analytical forecasts.

The S&OP team manages everything from vendor/seller receipts to shipments from Fulfillment Centers, making this role crucial for Amazon's supply chain efficiency. You'll help optimize resource allocation across nine US regions while focusing on speed, quality, cost, and environmental impact.

This position combines technical expertise with business acumen, requiring strong programming skills in Python and SQL, experience with AWS technologies, and the ability to communicate complex analyses to senior leadership. The role offers competitive compensation ranging from $89,600 to $185,000 based on location, plus additional benefits including equity and comprehensive medical coverage.
