Business Intelligence Engineer, Solution Engineering, JCFS

Amazon Japan is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to join their Solution Engineering (SOLE) team under Japan Customer Fulfillment Solutions (JCFS) in Tokyo. This role combines technical expertise with analytical skills, requiring deep knowledge of business intelligence solutions and excellent statistical capabilities.

The position involves working with JCFS project owners and leadership to develop and implement business intelligence solutions that drive efficiency and customer satisfaction. You'll be responsible for designing and maintaining scalable solutions for metrics, reports, and dashboards, while partnering with global technology teams to manage data processes.

As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you'll spend 60-70% of your time on assigned projects and 30-40% on ad hoc data requests. The role includes regular collaboration with team members and stakeholders through weekly syncs and quarterly offsite meetings to discuss growth strategy.

The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience working with data analysis tools like Redshift, Oracle, and NoSQL, along with proficiency in data visualization tools and statistical analysis packages. Strong SQL and Python skills are essential, and experience with AWS solutions is preferred.
