Cloud Support Engineer (Mandarin Fluency)

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Cloud Support Engineer with Mandarin fluency to join their team. As a member of the AWS Support team, you'll be at the forefront of transformational cloud technology, assisting a global list of companies and developers in leveraging AWS services.

Your role as a Cloud Support Engineer will involve:

• Acting as a 'Cloud Ambassador' across all cloud products
• Using the latest cloud computing technologies
• Helping customers understand application architectures and integration approaches
• Applying advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide unique solutions
• Interacting with leading engineers worldwide
• Partnering with AWS teams to reproduce and resolve customer issues
• Providing feedback to internal teams on service improvements
• Driving customer communication during critical events
• Working on projects to improve support processes and customer experience
• Writing tutorials, how-to videos, and technical articles
• Solving complex customer problems spanning multiple AWS services

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent, or 3+ years of technical support experience
• 3+ years of experience in network and operating system support
• 3+ years of experience with virtualization, orchestration, and cloud computing
• 3+ years of database administration experience
• 3+ years of software development experience with object-oriented languages
• 3+ years of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) experience
• Fluency in both English and Mandarin

Compensation for this role ranges from $86,000/year to $185,000/year, depending on the geographic market, along with potential equity, sign-on payments, and a comprehensive benefits package.
