AWS Support Engineering is seeking a Cloud Support Engineer specializing in Networking services. This role is integral to AWS's customer-facing global organization, providing technical support to both customers and internal teams. As a Cloud Support Engineer, you'll be working with cutting-edge cloud technologies, focusing on networking services such as Site to Site VPN, Client VPN, Direct Connect, VPC-TGW, Outposts, and Cloud WAN.

You'll be part of AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS), responsible for driving revenue and growth across various customer segments. The role involves working with leading companies building mission-critical applications on AWS services. You'll troubleshoot complex technical issues, provide tailored solutions, and work closely with customers to resolve their challenges.

  • Solve customer cases through various contact channels (telephone, email, and web/live chat)
  • Drive initiatives to improve support processes and customer experience
  • Provide feedback to internal AWS teams on service improvements
  • Work on complex customer problems spanning multiple AWS services

  • Participate in hiring processes

Requirements For Cloud Support Engineer - Networking (NDev), Support Engineering

Linux
  • 1+ years of software development or technical support experience
  • Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
  • Experience in systems administration (Linux Windows OS, IP tables, Windows Firewall, NAT)
  • Experience in network administration (IPsec/SSL VPN, BGP, Routing and Switching, TCP/IP)
  • Proficiency with troubleshooting tools (traceroute, mtr, ping, iperf, dig/nslookup, cURL, tcpdump/wireshark)
