Come join AWS's ADC System Security Engineering team, where security is our highest priority. We're seeking passionate engineers to build and support security services used across Amazon to secure internal systems and networks. The role focuses on authentication, authorization, and enforcement services supporting Amazon.com and AWS.

As a Cloud Systems Engineer II, you'll be part of a DevOps team maintaining and expanding security services for critical initiatives. Responsibilities For Cloud Systems Engineer II, ADC System Security Engineering

  • Build, deploy, and maintain security services for the US intelligence community
  • Mentor other Systems and Systems Development Engineers
  • Work backwards from customer needs to develop appropriate features
  • Participate in on-call rotation every couple of months
  • Create and improve documentation, runbooks, and automation for operations

Requirements For Cloud Systems Engineer II, ADC System Security Engineering

Linux
  • Associate's degree, or Cloud+ or GICSP or GSEC or SSCP certification
  • 3+ years Linux systems administration and technical troubleshooting/support experience
  • 2+ years of networking experience (TCP/IP)
  • Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
