WWDE (Worldwide Design and Engineering) at Amazon is seeking a Controls Integration Engineer to join their global team in developing next-generation fulfillment systems. Responsibilities For Controls Integration Engineer, Worldwide Design and Engineering

  • Write control specification documents for deployment of system designs
  • Integrate control system products and partner with suppliers and customers
  • Lead commissioning and system optimization
  • PLC troubleshooting and diagnostic
  • Own and develop controls commissioning and testing tasks
  • Lead initiatives to enhance engineering practices
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis and testing of engineering solutions

Requirements For Controls Integration Engineer, Worldwide Design and Engineering

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, implementing, and supporting PLC-based control systems
  • 4+ years in designing systems, emphasizing design patterns, reliability, and scalability
  • 4+ years of experience programming with modern PLC software
  • Experience diagnosing PLC control level issues, particularly with Allen-Bradley systems
  • Familiarity with industrial networking and communications protocols
  • Experience in both hardware and software aspects of Industrial Control Systems
  • Experience with control systems and software development life-cycle
  • Experience working in customer-facing environments
