The Data Center Engineering Operations (DCEO) Engineer is responsible for engineering operations including risk management and mitigation, planning, implementation of corrective and preventative maintenance for critical infrastructure and vendor management within our AWS Data Center environment. They ensure operational excellence, maintain critical infrastructure, supervise specialist vendors, act as first responders to incidents, and become subject matter experts for the facility.

A typical day involves troubleshooting facility events, performing rack installs and decommissioning, providing operational readings, and overseeing maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment.
