Data Center Facility Engineer (M&E) - West London, DCC Communities

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We're looking for a Data Center Engineering Operations Technician to join our expanding Infrastructure Operations team. This role involves hands-on electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting and operation response. Key responsibilities include:

1. SAFETY: Maintain the highest safety standards and foster a world-class safety culture.
2. ENGINEERING & FACILITY OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE: Apply operational experience with electrical and mechanical equipment such as UPS's, Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, ATS's, Diesel Generators, Chillers, HVAC, Exhaust Fans, VFD's, and Transformers.

The ideal candidate will:

• Troubleshoot events within internal SLAs
• Perform daily operational readings of mechanical and electrical equipment
• Supervise contractors for servicing and preventive maintenance

Physical requirements include manual handling and lifting of equipment, ability to work shifts, on-call rotation, and working at heights in potentially noisy environments.
