Data Center Operations Manager, BOM North DCO

Data Center Manager for the world's biggest Cloud Infrastructure.

As a Data Center Manager in ADSIPL (Amazon Data Services India Private Limited), you will manage the world's largest Cloud Computing Infrastructure in India. You'll encounter interesting, challenging & complex problems daily, innovating to solve issues and drive Operations Excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and developing teams of engineers, providing technical and leadership expertise
• Maintaining existing co-located and in-house Data Centers
• Building and bringing online new Data Centers
• Improving processes and procedures
• Managing relationships with external vendors & contractors
• Liaising with internal teams & management groups
• Ensuring adherence to local Health & Safety standards
• Creating and maintaining metrics on all aspects of Data Centers
• Implementing service methodologies (incident, problem, change, capacity management)

The ideal candidate will have:

• 7+ years of relevant engineering experience managing large scale services
• 7+ years of experience in DC Operations, IT Operations or similar roles
• 3+ years building & managing strong, successful technical teams
• Incident Management Experience
• Vendor Management Experience
• Process Improvement Experience
• High degree of organization and detail-orientation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven track record in delivering complex projects
• Prior ownership of mission-critical team/product operations
• Ability to deliver results despite competing priorities
• Security and Health & Safety awareness
