Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a highly motivated, customer-obsessed professional to provide hands-on support to our Data Center Security team across the Swedish Cluster. As a Data Center Security Manager (DSM), you will be responsible for:
- Managing day-to-day data center security operations
- Supporting and executing security projects and programs
- Ensuring audit compliance with AWS policies and procedures
- Directing and managing contract guard force
- Handling site security incidents and escalations
- Providing after-hours on-call management support
- Participating in data center security audits and reviews
- Executing compliance processes with AWS policies and relevant legal requirements
- Developing security methodologies, policies, and procedures
- Writing reports and communicating with management on physical security operations
- Overseeing new security construction or retrofit projects
- Managing the security P&L for assigned site(s)
- Collaborating with other teams to protect AWS Data Center personnel, information, and assets
The ideal candidate will receive comprehensive onboard training and continuous support from local and regional security teams. This role offers opportunities to collaborate and engage with various teams across the globe.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in security
- Over 4 years of experience in physical security management
- Fluent in English
- Strong data-driven decision making and analytical skills
- Security-specific qualifications and/or proof of continued personal development
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
