Data Engineer, AWS Fintech

AWS Fintech is seeking a talented Data Engineer to join their team and build a cutting-edge, highly scalable data platform using AWS technologies. As a Data Engineer at AWS Fintech, you'll be responsible for developing data architecture and tools to support self-service data analytics. You'll have end-to-end ownership of data engineering solutions and play a crucial role in strategic decision-making. The position involves working with huge datasets and requires expertise in designing, creating, and managing extremely large datasets.

You'll be working closely with BI engineers, software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to solve unique business problems. Your responsibilities will include building and managing analytical resources on AWS, creating robust ETL pipelines using SQL, Python, and Spark, and continuously improving reporting and analysis processes.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable with ambiguity, possess strong attention to detail, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You'll have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, and Lambda.

This role offers competitive compensation ranging from $91,200 to $185,000 per year, depending on location and experience, plus additional benefits including medical insurance and 401k.
