Data Engineer II, AWS Sustainability Technology

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. The team is responsible for keeping the cloud running, supporting all AWS data centers including servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment. This role focuses on developing solutions for renewable energy portfolio and reducing carbon footprint of materials in data centers.

As a Data Engineer II in the AWS Sustainability Technology team, you will:

• Develop large data models for clients in energy, renewable resources, sustainability, and water sectors
• Enable assessment of renewable energy portfolios, including solar, on-shore and off-shore wind farms
• Support data scientists in creating predictive models to enhance decision-making
• Work on AWS's commitment to achieve net-zero carbon by 2040
• Contribute to AWS's water positive initiative, aiming to return more water to communities than used in operations by 2030
