Data Engineer ll, UTR data platform team

Amazon, the world's largest internet retailer, is seeking a Data Engineer II to join their UTR data platform team. This role presents an exciting opportunity to work on reinventing global supply chain and international e-commerce operations. The position focuses on developing and improving the Workforce Planning Analytics platform used for critical planning, reporting, and forecasting purposes.

The role offers unique exposure working directly with various stakeholders, including Business Analysts, Site Leads, and Program Management teams. You'll be responsible for driving strategic initiatives to improve reporting efficiency, developing new workflow tools, and establishing key performance metrics. The position requires someone who can combine strong technical data engineering skills with business acumen and comfort working in ambiguous situations.

Key technical responsibilities include designing and implementing analytical data infrastructure using AWS technologies, building scalable ETL pipelines, and developing analytics applications using modern programming languages like Python and SQL. You'll work with both relational and non-relational databases, and leverage various AWS services such as Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, and Lambda.

The compensation package is competitive, ranging from $118,900 to $205,600 based on geographic location, plus additional benefits including medical coverage, financial benefits, and equity compensation.
