Data Engineer, OTS DataTech & Learning Solutions

At OpsTech Solutions (OTS), we are seeking a Data Engineer to join our DataTech team. OTS is a technology-centric services organization that designs, builds, and maintains the critical network and compute infrastructure supporting Amazon's global Operations. The OTS DataTech team leads the enterprise data strategy, focusing on Data as a Product and supporting organization-wide data and analytics initiatives.

As a Data Engineer, you'll be instrumental in designing and implementing foundational data infrastructure that enables OTS product teams to access business-critical metrics. Your responsibilities will include developing systems for data ingestion and processing from various sources, creating data lakes, and enabling seamless data publishing and subscription services. You'll also support self-service analytics for business reporting and help automate data governance processes.

The role requires expertise in data modeling, warehousing, and ETL pipeline construction. Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, and Lambda is highly valued. You'll work with both relational and non-relational databases, contributing to a modern data architecture that supports AI/ML capabilities.
