Data Engineer, SCOT - AIM - Capacity, APS, IPT & METIS

Amazon's Global Supply Chain Optimization team (SCOT) is seeking a Level 5 Data Engineer to play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining data infrastructure and pipelines. This position is integral to Amazon's supply chain efficiency, working on systems that forecast and optimize the distribution of millions of products to Amazon's warehouses worldwide.

As a Data Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of building systems that peer into the future and estimate the distribution of tens of millions of products every week to Amazon's warehouses in the most cost-effective way. The forecasting platforms you'll work on are being sought after by diverse business planning use cases, including unintegrated Amazon subsidiaries.

Your responsibilities will include leading the design and implementation of complex data pipelines, architecting scalable data systems using cloud technologies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient data solutions. You'll work with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, and Lambda, while also handling non-relational databases and data stores.
