Embedded Software Dev Engineer, Simulation Foundations

Project Kuiper is Amazon's ambitious initiative to revolutionize global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). This role presents an exciting opportunity to join as a Software Engineer focused on simulation foundations for embedded systems.

The position involves designing and implementing distributed systems that enable Kuiper to operate within realistic virtual environments at scale. You'll be working with cutting-edge AWS technologies and applying industry-best software engineering practices. The role requires expertise in embedded systems, particularly with ARM processors and real-time operating systems.

As an Embedded Software Dev Engineer, you'll be responsible for building critical infrastructure that supports the testing and deployment of software across various environments - from virtualized hardware to real hardware-in-the-loop simulations and ultimately on-orbit testing. You'll work with multiple teams across device software, frontend, networking, and security, contributing to the development of tools that ensure reliable software deployment.
