AWS Solutions is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join their team focused on Just Walk Out Technology, Amazon's innovative checkout-free shopping experience. This role combines embedded systems development with cutting-edge retail technology.

The position involves leading technical aspects of embedded systems throughout the entire product lifecycle. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing robust digital designs for various embedded devices, performing board bring-up, testing, and troubleshooting. A key aspect involves contributing to IoT firmware architecture by developing production-grade firmware.

As part of AWS Solutions, you'll work on business applications that leverage Amazon's unique expertise to serve millions of companies worldwide. The team focuses on accelerating customer businesses through intuitive and differentiated technology solutions that address enduring business challenges.

The role requires collaboration with vendors and travel to supplier/manufacturer sites worldwide (10-20% travel). You'll be working with computer vision, sensor fusion, and advanced machine learning technologies that power the Just Walk Out shopping experience - where customers can take products and leave the store automatically charging their Amazon account.
