Escalation Engineer II (COMMS), E2M

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an Escalation Engineer II for the Escalation and Event Management (E2M) team within AWS Support. This role is part of the Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS) organization, responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth across various customer segments.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting external customers in integrating with the AWS Health service
• Collaborating with AWS Health Engineering to improve customer experience for operational notifications
• Partnering with AWS Service Teams to craft communications and remove technical ambiguity
• Executing planned operational communications to customers
• Building a broad understanding of AWS services and customer use cases
• Facilitating post-mortems of operational failures and implementing improvements

The ideal candidate should have:

• 4+ years of technical support experience
• Tertiary qualification in IT/Computer Studies or relevant Technology Certifications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication abilities
• Passion for technology and AWS services
