Front End Engineer, Amazon Location Service, AWS

Amazon Location Service is seeking a Front End Engineer to drive UI and SDK development. This role involves leading e2e full stack design and development, bringing deep knowledge of front-end technologies and advanced UX design patterns. Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and building features for applications
• Championing UX patterns and best practices
• Ensuring highly performant UIs
• Providing operational effectiveness of systems
• Offering on-call support
• Participating in sprint ceremonies
• Reviewing designs and work products

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• 2+ years of professional front-end, web, or mobile software development experience
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks like Angular and React

Preferred qualifications:

• 1+ years of agile software development methodology experience
• Experience developing on AWS
• UX design experience
