AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. As a Mechanical Field Engineer, you will provide full life-cycle support to AWS Data Centers from design inception through site improvement and maintenance. You'll be the 'go to' engineering resource for your region, performing design reviews, troubleshooting, conducting Root Cause Analysis, supporting operational issues, owning design upgrades, and interfacing with various teams to maintain consistency and reliability. You'll work on concurrent projects, sometimes in multiple geographical regions, initiate engineering audits, and act as a resident engineer during new construction projects. This role requires strong engineering judgment, attention to detail, project management experience, and the ability to build relationships with different stakeholders.
