Network Development Engineer, AWS Network Development

The Core Networking team is seeking a Network Development Engineer to join our Network Fabric Engineering (NFE) team. In this role, you'll be responsible for building, deploying, and scaling Amazon networks that support AWS, customers, and other business units across multiple global datacenters. AWS Core Networking focuses on building Data Centers and the network infrastructure that enables efficient Data Center operations.

As a Network Development Engineer, you'll:

• Create and implement network changes
• Collaborate with automation teams on scaling tools
• Lead network projects in various areas including sustaining engineering and optimization
• Support AWS's next-generation networks
• Troubleshoot network routing and configuration issues
• Drive innovation from Top of Rack to Network Border
• Work with Network/Systems/Software Engineering teams
• Maintain networking standards and compliance
• Deliver sustainable solutions and processes

The role involves working in a 24x7 team on-call rotation and managing customer issues under pressure. You'll be part of the Availability, Routing and Compliance (ARC) team, responsible for ensuring network security compliance and maintaining optimal network performance.

The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $127,400 to $212,800 per year based on location, plus equity, sign-on payments, and comprehensive benefits. This is an excellent opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology while contributing to the world's leading cloud platform.
