Amazon's Enterprise Network team is seeking a Network Development Engineer to join their mission of scaling and automating one of the world's largest and most complex networks. This role is part of AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS), the team responsible for keeping the cloud running by managing all AWS global infrastructure.
The Enterprise Network provides critical global connectivity for internal services, business applications, datacenter infrastructure, and over 1 million internal users. As a Network Development Engineer, you'll work on innovative solutions to automate and scale next-generation network architectures deployed across AWS Datacenters globally.
You'll be joining a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, collaborating across AWS to maintain the highest standards of safety and security while delivering infinite capacity at optimal costs. The role requires strong autonomy, excellent communication skills, and proven experience in designing scalable solutions and troubleshooting complex network problems.
Key responsibilities include deploying network infrastructure across all network fabrics, scaling and automating networks across global data centers, developing tooling to improve efficiency, creating repeatable processes, and working closely with internal customers on design solutions. You'll also be instrumental in defining platforms and frameworks that enable unprecedented scale.
