Responsibilities For Network Development Engineer, Internet Edge

  • Provide critical network operations support to Amazon.com customers
  • Contribute to operational on-call rotating roster
  • Operate and troubleshoot network routing, inter-connectivity, platforms, performance, and configurations issues
  • Work with automation teams in defining scaling tools
  • Work with Network/Systems & Software Engineering teams for deployment
  • Maintain networking toolset standards and compliance
  • Drive event deep dives for large-scale events
  • Improve detection mechanisms
  • Deliver sustainable and repeatable solutions and processes
  • Create and maintain automation scripts and tools

Requirements For Network Development Engineer, Internet Edge

  • 2+ years of major internet routing protocols experience
  • 1+ years of automation scripting using Python, Bash, Shell and/or Perl experience
  • 2+ years professional experience working in large scale networking environments
