Network Development Engineer, Kuiper Enterprise Network Infrastructure

Project Kuiper is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite broadband network focused on delivering fast, reliable internet globally. As a Network Development Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise networks for manufacturing facilities, research labs, launch sites, and mission operations centers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing network architecture for manufacturing and lab environments
• Building and maintaining launch and mission operations networks
• Creating network standards and configurations
• Planning network capacity and growth
• Implementing routing and switching solutions
• Managing WAN connectivity between sites
• Developing network automation
• Documenting network infrastructure

Your typical day involves reviewing network monitoring alerts, analyzing traffic patterns, planning network expansions, architecting solutions for launch sites, coordinating with vendors, troubleshooting routing issues, and mentoring team members. You'll balance hands-on configuration work with leading design reviews while maintaining high network reliability for mission-critical operations.

The role requires working from the Bellevue office 5 days per week with up to 25% business travel. This position offers competitive compensation ranging from $127,400 to $212,800 per year based on location and experience, plus comprehensive benefits including medical, financial, and other benefits.
