Amazon is seeking a talented New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer to join their WW Technology Deployment organization, focusing on robotics and automation solutions. This role is critical in ensuring new robotics technologies are properly vetted and tested during Alpha and Beta deployments before scaling. The position combines hardware and software expertise, requiring deep technical knowledge in both areas.

The role involves working with Amazon's global network of fulfillment centers, implementing and optimizing automated solutions that handle millions of inventory units. You'll be at the forefront of innovation, working with cutting-edge technologies including robotics, autonomy, supply chain optimization, machine learning, and distributed systems.

As an NPI Engineer, you'll lead strategic deployment projects, manage large installation teams, and serve as a technical expert in deploying and integrating new robotics solutions. The position requires strong problem-solving skills, as you'll be responsible for identifying and resolving field issues, ensuring root causes are addressed, and maintaining high safety and quality standards.

  • Participate in strategic Deployment Readiness projects
  • Act as subject matter expert for deploying, integrating, optimizing new Robotics solutions
  • Provide feedback on Work Instructions and execution plans
  • Manage large third-party installation teams
  • Resolve field issues and ensure root causes are addressed
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Drive alignment of New Product Introduction strategy
