Process Engineer, RMTO Process Engineering

Amazon Robotics (AR) is seeking a Process Engineer for their RMTO Process Engineering team. Located in the greater Boston area, AR is at the forefront of robotics innovation. The role involves designing, developing, installing, and validating manufacturing equipment and tools for robotic systems. Key responsibilities include gathering tooling requirements, designing tools and fixtures, managing fabrication and validation of equipment, owning optimization initiatives, writing technical documents, implementing improvements, and performing critical process reviews. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, prototyping skills, and the ability to manage accelerated project schedules. This role requires cross-functional collaboration, clear communication with senior management, and occasional travel (10%). The Process Engineering Team works closely with new product design teams to develop assembly processes, provide design feedback, write work instructions, and lead the acquisition and validation of tools and equipment for AR factories.
