Responsibilities For Robotics Hardware Dev Engineer

  • Design, build, and test innovative systems and module designs
  • Design robotic end of arm tools for robot FC solutions
  • Create, test and deploy new mechatronic designs
  • Improve and maintain existing product designs
  • Write requirements and functional specifications
  • Design verification plans and functional test procedures
  • Work with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Quality organizations
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure smooth production transition of design changes

Requirements For Robotics Hardware Dev Engineer

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or related degrees (mechatronics, robotics, systems, physics, etc.)
  • 2+ years of hardware design and validation experience
  • Experience with components, subsystems and systems
  • Knowledge of SolidWorks or similar CAD software
