Amazon is seeking a Robotics Systems Engineer II to join their Robotics Deployment Engineering team. Working with a team of 1-5 engineers, you'll collaborate with on-site project managers to provide technical oversight for both third-party and Amazon-designed robotics equipment installations.
This field engineering position requires extensive collaboration with various stakeholders, including third-party installers, contracted engineers, construction teams, hardware and software teams, IT departments, and other partner teams. Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with both internal and external partners and customers.
As an Amazonian, you'll need to demonstrate independent initiative to identify and solve problems in real-time during deployments while driving continuous improvement initiatives. The role involves working with robotic systems in various phases of the product lifecycle, including leading the development of process documentation and modifying existing processes when supporting new products.
