The Last Mile team at Amazon is at the forefront of revolutionizing package delivery, focusing on the crucial final step of getting packages from delivery stations to customers' doorsteps. As a Software Development Engineer in the Connected Vehicle team, you'll be part of an innovative initiative building a globally connected fleet of smart delivery vehicles, both traditional and electric. Responsibilities For SDE - Connected Vehicles, LMDA - Connected Vehicles

  • Develop solutions to access and utilize existing array of sensors within current fleet of delivery vehicles
  • Design future fleet of delivery vehicles
  • Work with edge computing systems and cloud data analytic platforms
  • Develop user applications with UX optimization
  • Create data processing pipeline with connected devices
  • Build data analytic tooling with big-data

Requirements For SDE - Connected Vehicles, LMDA - Connected Vehicles

Python
  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • Experience with LiDAR and camera sensor data (preferred)
  • Strong programming skills in C++, Python, or similar languages (preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent (preferred)
  • Expertise in computer vision, machine learning, and image processing (preferred)
