Description For SDE-I

Amazon's IES Payments Tech Team is seeking a talented software engineer to join their high-visibility team focused on building the world's best payment experience. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on critical, high-volume applications that directly impact customer experience globally. You'll be part of a team that takes a worldwide view of payments for Amazon, building highly customized and seamless payment experiences.

The position involves working with various technologies, from front-end Android development to back-end highly distributed systems. You'll be responsible for developing robust software that scales effectively and ensures customer orders are always processed, even when downstream services are down. The role requires a security-conscious mindset and the ability to analyze software for potential threats.

Requirements For SDE-I

Java
  • 1+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 1+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • Knowledge of software engineering best practices
