SDE-II, AWS Just Walk Out

AWS Just Walk Out is an innovative retail technology that enables checkout-free shopping experiences. The technology combines vision, sensor fusion, and advanced machine learning to automatically detect products taken from or returned to shelves, maintaining them in a virtual cart.

As an SDE-II on the Retail Platform Technology team, you'll be working on critical platform components that power Just Walk Out stores, including Order Management, in-store pricing intelligence, shopper receipts and refunds, and merchant experience capabilities. You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality software while solving complex technical challenges, owning end-to-end project delivery, and writing detailed solution designs.

The role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to make appropriate trade-offs in software design. You'll actively participate in code reviews, design discussions, and team planning, while also mentoring new team members.
