Description For Security Engineer, AWS Vulnerability Managment

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Security is seeking a passionate and innovative Security Engineer for their AWS Vulnerability Management team. Responsibilities For Security Engineer, AWS Vulnerability Managment

  • Become a subject matter expert for a technology domain in AWS Vulnerability Management
  • Own and coordinate large-scale remediation or triage campaigns
  • Provide support and mentorship to less experienced team members
  • Research and interpret vulnerability disclosures and intelligence
  • Author risk assessment statements and remediation guidance
  • Partner with product teams to develop scalable security solutions
  • Design and develop tooling to automate vulnerability management processes
  • Periodic on-call responsibilities

Requirements For Security Engineer, AWS Vulnerability Managment

Python
Java
  • CCSP, CEH, CFR, Cloud+, CySA+, GCED, GICSP, or PenTest+ certification
  • 5+ years of programming in Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .Net, C++ or similar
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • 3+ years of threat modeling, secure coding, identity management, authentication, software development, cryptography, or network security experience
