Amazon's Corporate Services Security (CPSS) team is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join their team aligned with Finance & Global Business Services, People eXperience & Technology, Legal and Global Communications units. This role combines technical expertise in application security with leadership capabilities to protect Amazon's corporate services, systems, and data.
The position offers an exciting opportunity to work with AWS services and shape security strategies across multiple business units. Responsibilities For Security Engineer, Corporate Services Security, Corporate Services Security
- Creating, updating, and maintaining threat models for web applications hosted on cloud
- Manual and Automated Secure Code Review in Java, Python and Javascript
- Development of security automation tools
- Adversarial security analysis using the latest tools
- Provide Security training and outreach for internal development teams
- Provide Security architecture and design guidance to application development teams
- Solve complex security problems independently
- Influence team's process, priorities, and strategy using data
- Provide technical guidance to senior leaders and stakeholders
Requirements For Security Engineer, Corporate Services Security, Corporate Services Security
- BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 7 years of web application security industry experience
- Experience with threat modeling, secure coding, identity management and authentication, Web Application Security, cryptography, penetration testing, cloud security, mobile security, and network security
- Experience reading and writing in at least one programming language
