Amazon Games is seeking a Senior Anti-Cheat Engineer to join their Anti Team, which is responsible for protecting the multiplayer experience of millions of players through anti-cheat, anti-fraud, and anti-bot solutions. This role combines deep technical expertise in security engineering with game development, focusing on maintaining competitive integrity across Amazon's game portfolio.

The position requires extensive experience in C++ development, Windows kernel programming, and reverse engineering. You'll be working on developing sophisticated detection methods, analyzing and countering emerging cheats, and building scalable solutions that make cheating increasingly difficult and unprofitable.

Responsibilities For Senior Anti-Cheat Engineer, Amazon Games

  • Architect, develop, and maintain a software pipeline for detecting and preventing cheats on PC game clients
  • Proactively identify emerging cheats and exploits, and devise preemptive strategies
  • Stay up to date on Windows internals and new features
  • Reverse engineer existing cheats to understand their mechanics
  • Advocate for best practices in Windows driver and service development
  • Mentor fellow engineers to raise the team's technical bar
  • Make existing systems and solutions simpler

Requirements For Senior Anti-Cheat Engineer, Amazon Games

  • 7+ years in C++ professional software development
  • 5+ years of experience with reverse engineering and development tools (IDA Pro, WinDbg, etc)
  • 3+ years of Windows kernel mode development experience
  • 3+ years contributing to the architecture, design, or analysis of anti-cheat systems
  • Proven track record of successfully shipping products
