Senior Events Program Manager, AWS GSS Security Culture & Readiness

The Global Services, Security (GSS) team, a part of Amazon Web Services, leverages the expertise and ingenuity of our builders to establish scalable security solutions for both internal and external customers that drive business outcomes. Our goal of securing the world's workloads and building a brighter future for humanity requires us to focus on reliable delivery of bar raising security outcomes and investment in security mechanisms and automation on behalf of our customers.

As a Sr. Program Manager, you will drive the program management for high-impact events for the AWS Global Services Security (GSS) and AWS GSS Security Culture & Readiness team. In this role you will develop, market, and execute events targeting IT decision-makers, as well as builders interested in or already building with AWS. You will work closely with stakeholders across AWS, specifically in Global Services, GSS and Marketing to set direction and coordinated the local execution of these activities.

Key job responsibilities:

• Develop and execute end-to-end plans for key components of field-led event programs and large scale events.
• Lead program management of planning and execution of program strategy.
• Participate and represent GSS in greater AWS event program calls.
• Define goals, manage budget and timeline, and oversee vendors and venue partners.
• Partner with Product Marketing on content, marketing and messaging strategy.
• Collaborate with AWS service teams on service launches and tracking outcomes.
• Develop marketing plans including demand generation and post-event initiatives.
• Manage customer and partner meeting strategy.
• Provide detailed post-event debrief reports.
• Collaborate with community and non-profit partners.
• Think Big about creating unique, interactive experiences for customers.
