Senior Software Development Engineer/ Tech Lead, Amazon

Amazon's Forge team is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer/Tech Lead to drive innovation in their advertising technology platform. This role is part of one of Amazon's fastest-growing businesses, focused on creating engaging and intuitive advertising experiences across campaign creation, management, and strategic recommendations.

The position requires a unique blend of technical expertise and leadership skills, as you'll be responsible for evolving tools, services, and frameworks that help advertisers achieve their marketing goals. You'll work with a diverse customer base including sellers, vendors, authors, and entertainment creators, both endemic and non-endemic, as well as partners and agencies operating globally.

As a technical leader, you'll be instrumental in challenging the status quo and raising the bar on service quality and feature development. The role demands extensive design and architecture experience, particularly with AWS technologies and services such as Lambda, ECS, CloudFormation, VPC, API Gateway, and CloudWatch. You'll need to demonstrate proficiency in front-end and middle-tier frameworks, and have a proven track record of building mission-critical, highly scalable systems.

The compensation package is competitive, ranging from $151,300 to $261,500 per year based on geographic location, plus additional benefits including equity, sign-on payments, and comprehensive medical and financial benefits.
