Senior Software Engineer, Amazon AGI

AGI Information at Amazon is responsible for making the world's information accessible for AI models and customers everywhere. The Local Information org within Info is developing next-gen web-scale local information retrieval systems to power several of Alexa's customer experiences. As a senior software engineer on this team, you'll have the opportunity to directly impact customer experience, design, architecture, and implementation of products used daily.

We're seeking a full stack software development engineer with a track record of success in designing and delivering new products, solving problems, and learning new technologies quickly. Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and coding solutions for broadly defined problems
• Developing high-throughput, cost-effective data pipelines for feature extraction and indexing
• Designing and building cost-efficient distributed model training infrastructure
• Developing efficient, state-of-the-art streaming algorithms for processing large datasets
• Involvement in all stages of the software development cycle
• Working in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software
• Embracing operational excellence and winning customer trust
• Participating in prioritization, estimation, and sprint planning

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of professional software development experience, strong programming skills, experience in leading design or architecture of systems, and mentorship or tech lead experience. A background in full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations is preferred.
